Police: Man found under Lansing bridge committed suicide

LANSING - Police have determined that a man found dead under a downtown bridge Tuesday committed suicide.
Lansing police Public Information Director Robert Merritt released no further details other than that the man had hanged himself.
Police said earlier that he was believed to be a Lansing resident in his 20s.
His body was found at about 7 a.m. Tuesday on a bank of the Grand River under the Kalamazoo Street bridge.
