Here's a list of where to catch fireworks, parades and other fun Fourth of July activities in the greater Lansing area.

Wednesday, July 1

Ionia Fourth of July Celebration, dusk. Ionia Free Fair grounds, 317 S. Dexter St., Ionia. Across from the fairgrounds, the Ionia Rotary Club will be hosting an "Uncle Sam Jam" on the Michigan One Community Credit Union lawn, at the corner of Dexter and Steele streets, from 5-10 p.m. Live music and food and beer available for purchase. Free admission.

Friday, July 3

Delta Township Fireworks Celebration, dusk. Sharp Park, 1401 Elmwood Road, Lansing. Concert 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the amphitheater. Concession stands available, or you may bring your own cooler. Very limited parking at the park. A parking pass, available at the Delta Township Parks and Recreation Department, is required. Info: www.deltami.gov. Free.

Portland Independence Day Parade & Fireworks, Portland High School, 1100 Ionia Road, Portland. Parade begins at 8 p.m., followed by King and Queen recognition at the Portland High School stadium. Fireworks at dusk. Info: 647-2981.

Williamston Fourth of July Fireworks, dusk. First Baptist Church, 3185 N. Williamston Road, Williamston. Info: 655-2139.

Saturday, July 4

City of Lansing Fourth of July Parade & Fireworks, Adado Riverfront Park, 501 N. Grand Ave., Lansing. Parade steps off from the Capitol grounds at 11 a.m. Patriotic music performed by the Lansing Concert Band at 8 p.m. followed by the fireworks at 10 p.m. Info: www.lansingmi.gov.

Corunna Fourth of July Celebration, Hugh McCurdy Park, M-71, Corunna Avenue, Corunna. Fun-filled community/family celebration includes a parade, car show, live entertainment, arts and crafts, races and fireworks at dusk.

Eaton Rapids Independence Day Celebration, downtown Eaton Rapids. Parade along Main Street at 11 a.m. Fireworks at Howe Field starting at 10:15 p.m. Other events include a pancake breakfast and silent auction, craft show, Rotary Club chicken dinner, kid zone, duck race, dog show, hot dog and watermelon eating contest, beer tent with live music and a DJ, plus a late night movie at the amphitheater.

Fowlerville Fourth of July Celebration & Fireworks, Fowlerville Fairgrounds/Community Park, North Grand Avenue, Fowlerville. Parade at 7 p.m. downtown, live entertainment at Community Park 7-10 p.m., fireworks at 10:15 p.m. Daytime events open to the public include a classic car show with bounce houses and children's games at First Baptist Church, and a family picnic at Fowlerville United Brethren. Info: livingstoncountyfireworks.com. Cost: $5 donation per car for fireworks.

Lansing Lugnuts Fourth of July Fireworks, Cooley Law School Stadium, 505 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Held at dusk following the ball game. Info: 485-4500.

Mason Fourth of July Fireworks, dusk. Ingham County Fairgrounds, 700 E. Ash St., Mason. Sponsored by the Mason and Dansville fire departments.

Meridian Township Fireworks, 10 p.m. Central Park South, 1990 Central Park Drive, Okemos. Best viewing areas are located on the north side of Meridian Mall and the Township Municipal Complex on Marsh Road. Show is expected to last 15-20 minutes. Reading of the Declaration of Independence, 10-11 a.m. State Capitol steps, downtown Lansing. Third annual reading performed by Citizens For Celebrating American History.

St. Johns Rotary Fourth of July Fireworks, St. Johns City Park, Sickles and Morton Streets, St. Johns. Live concert at the Performance Shell at 7 p.m. Fireworks at dusk. Info: 669-9397. Free.

St. Louis Fourth of July Celebration, 10 p.m. Mill Street, downtown St. Louis.

St. Mary Parish Festival/Fourth of July Celebration, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. St. Mary Parish, 201 N. Westphalia St., Westphalia. Flag raising and parade at noon, followed by children's games, inflatables, Bingo, antique tractor pull, music by the Mello-Tones, beer tent, food, cash raffle at 9 p.m. Info: (989) 587-4201.
