Byrum serves as grand marshal for Pride Parade

LANSING – Two months after clerks across Michigan began issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples following a U.S. Supreme Court opinion, Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum was the grand marshal for the Michigan Pride Parade in Lansing Saturday.

Saturday’s parade started at Adado Riverfront Park and participants made their way to the Capitol Building for a rally.
