Common Ground guide: Everything you need to know

Common Ground Music Festival returns Tuesday, and this year's lineup brings more than 60 national and local acts to perform on three stages in Lansing's Adado Riverfront Park. If you're one of the thousands of music fans planning to attend this year's festivities, we put together a collection of details you will need.

BASICS:

The 16th annual Common Ground Music Festival takes place Tuesday through Sunday (July 7 to July 12) at Lansing's Adado Riverfront Park. Headliners include Meghan Trainor, Jane's Addiction, the Band Perry, Three Days Grace, Snoop Dogg, the Flaming Lips, Empire of the Sun and dozens of other acts.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. daily, except for those with "early entry" general admission tickets, who are allowed in at 5 p.m.

Tuesday: Meghan Trainor, Misterwives, Bea Miller, Skizzy Mars, Who Is Fancy, The Specktators Collective, Life of Dillon, Rajiv Dhall, Less is More and Flint Eastwood

Wednesday: Jane's Addiction, In This Moment, Failure, Here Come the Mummies, Alien Ant Farm, Eyes Set To Kill, Kaleido, Vandalay, Heartsick, The Most Powerful Weapon and ANA

Thursday: The Band Perry, Parmalee, Old Dominion, Brett Kissel, Gaelic Storm, Chasin Crazy, Árstíðir, the Anatomy of Frank, Steve Rivers, Bear Creek Brothers and Shelby Ann-Marie

Friday: Three Days Grace, P.O.D., Finger Eleven, All That Remains, The Color Morale, I Prevail, DeverauX, Critical Bill, Jonestown Crows and Mr Denton on Doomsday

Saturday: Snoop Dogg, Wale, Tech N9ne, DJ Quik, Heems, B.Sykes, Ground Up, JR Badinfluence and BLAT! Pack

ADMISSION:

Ticket prices vary per day but generally start around $35, with specific pricing available via www.commongroundfest.com. VIP tickets for certain nights are already sold out.

Tickets are available online at www.commongroundfest.com, in person at the Festival office at 901 N. Washington Ave. in Lansing from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and by phone at 1-877-569-7767. That changes during the festival, when tickets will be available at the Festival Box Office located outside the main gate. The Festival Box Office is open every day of the festival from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

KIDS:

Children under 6 are free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. There is special pricing for children between 6 and 10 years of age available at www.commongroundfest.com. Strollers are allowed at the festival.

ENTRANCE:

The main Gate is located at Saginaw Street and the Lansing River Trail in the northeast corner of Adado Riverfront Park.

PARKING:

Daily parking is available for $7 at Lansing Community College's Gannon Parking Ramp on the corner of Saginaw Street and Grand Avenue.

PETS:

Pets are not allowed onto festival grounds, with the exception of service animals.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING:

Lawn chairs (bag chairs are recommended), small purses and bags, non-professional cameras and mobile phones.

WHAT YOU CAN'T BRING:

Backpacks, large bags, other carry-ins, oversized umbrellas or umbrellas with a pointed or metal tips, outside food or beverages, cans or glass bottles, alcohol, contraband, pets (except service animals), selfie or GoPro sticks, video equipment, professional cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, skateboards, inline skates, coaster wagons, kites, Frisbees, picnic baskets, weapons of any kind.
